Almost certainly, our customers and all those who by chance or just out of curiosity read the articles on our LIP blog have wondered why we wrote this very curious title…
Actually, we LIP advisors have also asked ourselves this. Simply, we wanted to tell you something light, relaxing, but always about Paraguay, this small, interesting, hospitable and full of resources country, which we hope has become much more familiar to you by reading our articles and asking us for more detailed information by phone, whatsapp or email.
So what does 2015 have to do with it? Here is a brief explanation. In 2015 Il Sole 24 Ore published a short and interesting article about the “Global Emotional Report” by Gallup, (a famous American consultancy company famous for its polls all over the world), basically a global survey, which focuses on happiness, well-being, feeling good and enjoying life.
And…surprise! In 2015 the top 4 countries all belonged to Latin America and the first of them was Paraguay!
We must say that we were pleased with this little discovery, because we were able to see that what we immediately noticed years ago when we started working for Paraguay and in Paraguay: the feeling of well-being, warmth and sincere hospitality that could be felt in this country were difficult to compare with other countries we had previously known.
Returning to the survey previously mentioned, participants were asked questions of this type (according to the Positive Experience Index, which was the cornerstone of the study and the subsequent survey): “Did you feel relaxed yesterday?” Did they treat you with respect?” “Did you happen to laugh or smile in the past few days?” All apparently trivial questions.
The deepest truth, which this survey has simply highlighted, is that all those who live or move to Paraguay are infected by this serene and restful atmosphere, by the practically innate ability of these people to always see the glass half full and focus about the positive aspects of life. So, the negative aspects don’t exist and we are in a sort of Toyland? No, the common difficulties that everyone can go through are not a brake, but are faced with optimism and positivity, and in this way people are able to calmly and patiently face any setbacks that we can all encounter.
We LIP consultants who live for several months a year in Paraguay and continually return there with new clients, can assure you that nothing has changed since 2015, but rather this well-being offered by the population, the climate and a stupendous and uncontaminated nature (without forget the beautiful cities such as Asunción or Encarnación, which offer so much, both in terms of art and culture and entertainment) has only continued to grow more and more.
All those who are lucky enough to decide and choose Paraguay have seen their quality of life increase significantly and this also translates into better relationships with friends, relatives and acquaintances.
In practice: those who are happy, those who feel good, bring a note of positivity to all their relationships.
