When I was a kid, after a childish prank, my grandfather used to threaten me and my cousins that he would send us to Pernambuco. At the time Pernambuco was the most remote and exotic place about which we had never heard. That’s why, when I discovered Paraguay, my eyes flew away from the map and in a minute they covered the whole distance from Paraguay to Pernambuco. But Paraguay was farther away!

That is why in Paraguay you do not need to validate your academic qualification, on the contrary your qualification will be directly accepted.
To obtain permanent residence the candidate must submit:
- Birth Certificate
- Civil Status Certificate
- Criminal Record
- All documentation related to pension (for pensioners only)
