As we already wrote in our last article, on 30th April 2023 the Paraguayan people elected as its new President the representative of the Colorado Party, Santiago Peña. The liberal Government he represents is still fightening strongly against crime and in detail it is fightening against human trafficking and trade in drugs and arms.
These are very burning themes and they deserve the commitment of a government working every day to defend its citizens and its residents and ensuring them a quiet and safe life.
Santiago Peña continues the work initiated by President Horacio Cartes from 2013 till 2018.
The new President Santiago Peña has even more ambitious aims and intends to ensure that Paraguay continues to have crime rates comparable to those of European cities like Berlin, Paris, Rome or London. Its plan is to enable all residents in Paraguay to live and work peacefully without suffering from external attacks.
The new liberal Government led by Santiago Peña is therefore an assurance and it is the business card of a country that wants to continue to welcome all foreign people who want to live and work in a quiet and prosperous land.
The slogan launched by Santiago Peña can be summarized as follows: more freedom and prosperity and less criminality.
