And not only because it is our work, but especially to help and clarify the thinking of all those who are very interested in moving to Paraguay, and who during our informative talks bookable on our websites, ask us many questions about it.
We also receive a lot of emails with our client’s document and they ask us to check them. For this reason we think it is important provide some brief, clear and precise explanations.
First of all, please note that the “apostille” is nothing but a legalization of your certificate issued in Italy, that applies to abroad, in our case in Paraguay: as a matter of fact Paraguay acceded to the Hague Convention about apostille. In questo articolo parleremo del certificato di nascita e del certificato penale.
Let’s start with the Birth Certificate, that can be a Full Birth Certificate or a Birth Certificate or a Multilingual Birth Certificate.
LIP asks their clients for a Multilingual Birth Certificate, because in this certificate (that later the client will have to apostille at the Prefecture of Republic) there are the names of his father and mother in different languages and there are also the full details in a standard format (in accordance with Vienna Convention of 8 September 1976). This Multilingual apostilled Birth Certificate is accepted without any problem by Paraguayan Authorities.
For greater security and tranquility we advisors of LIP always recommend to send us your apostilled document (apostilled at the Prefecture of your place of residence) BEFORE your trip to Paraguay, so we can check it is correct and ready to be presented to Paraguayan offices. So you can be secure that everything is in order and that your document will be immediately accepted.
Regarding to Criminal Record it should be recalled that there are two criminal records: the Criminal Record and the Register of Ongoing Criminal Procedures.
The Criminal Record documents your possibile convictions definitively, on the other hand the Register of Ongoing Criminal Procedures only registers if you have ongoing criminal proceedings.
LIP asks you for your Criminal Record, that registers if you have ongoing criminal proceedings, if you want to move to Paraguay.
Also your Criminal Records must be apostilled at the Prefecture.
We hope you appreciated this article, but anyway we are always availabel for informative talks on our sites, if you have other questions.
