What you must do in Paraguay if you have experience, passion and money

27/08/2018 By admin

In its last Bulletin, the Central Bank of Paraguay published the positive change among the different key financial indicators.

For example, ROE (Return On Equity, that is the profitability of asset) in the sum of the Financial Institutes, had from 2017 to 2018 an increase of 12,8%.

As regards  ROA (Return On Asset, that is the profitability of the net capital) the financial system reached 1,9% It was the result of a slight increase of 9,2% as regard April 2017, when the indicator stood at 1,7%.

Moreover, based on data of April this year, deposits have grown 17,6% since the same period of 2017. About 108 millions US dollars have been added to the deposits of holding companies and so they reached a total of 720 millions US dollars.

GDP of this country remains more than 5% (and an expected 5,5% for 2018) after several constant increases, always more than 4%.

On the other hand, Spain was the fifth investor in Paraguay and now is the third investor. And that is not because other countries reduced their efforts!

We of Living in Paraguay believe that this country is a wonderful place not only to live comfortably, without paying taxes on any income generated abroad, but also because Paraguay has an emerging economy, that is not sufficiently known and that has not yet achieved its full development.

Why had you better rely on experts?

Civilization also provides for a distribution of roles. They cooperate together, so that every person no longer needs to worry about all aspects of life in an increasingly complex world. Already in hunter/collector societies there was a task specialization. Now, in a much more complex context, like the one of XXI century, experts are needed simply for a common sense issue. As a matter of fact, nobody can know everything in detail and in depth.

Your pride or your distorted trust in your abilities can make you do bad investments  or make you drown in unnecessary bureaucracy or even you are liable to make innocent mistakes. In this way, you lose precious things like your time, your money and all your energy.

The expert advisers of Living In Paraguay lived this experiences many times. Why must I begin this experience by myself if I can take advantage of others’ experience? It is like going with a icebreaker to open a course to the Artic Circle and just a few meters away there is a very busy course.

If you act like this, you will make bad investments, you will lose your time, you will have unnecessary costs and your situation will be much more complicated than necessary. Moreover, there will be tensions, which are not helpful at all when you have to face the most important stages of your life.

Often, the leaders of successful projects, besides having a very clear view of their objective, have also the humility to think that they are expert on many different  issues.  On the contrary, other people are expert on moments and situations in which they can help them.

For example, any economic initiative is composed of three parts: production, sale and financial management. You can be more or less competent in these three sectors and you can run a little business (for instance a kiosk or a store only managed by owner). In this way, you can maintain a situation till the context changes, but in this way your business does not grow and does not allow you to survive, if something unexpected happens. On the contrary, you can only be great in a sector. Some extraordinary professionals are very competent in two of these three sectors. But on the earth does not exist an human being who is exceptional and above average in all three sectors.

Financial Institutes and large companies know it. Business angel also know it (and don’t be influenced by their name: they are looking for profit like any other people). And just for this reason, before taking any economic initiative, there will always be an expert who produces an asset or a service, there will be an expert who distributes it, an expert who sells it and finally an expert who carries out the financial control of the whole operation.

Living in Paraguay is made up of senior directors and international consultants from Europe, who are available to advise you on the different sectors of their competence. They can advise you from the obtaining of your permanent to the many still little known advantages, and to financial investments in different sectors, in a country that is giving huge benefits, but it has not yet achieved its full potential.
