Get retired in Paraguay

28/03/2018 By admin

The loss of purchasing power of Spanish pensioners in the last 6 years has been almost 3%, and has not been greater just because during three years (2014-2015) there was negative growth of consumer prices.

The cumulative growth of pensions has been a scant 3% and since 2014 is stagnant at a tiny 0.25%.

Those who retire now, take a pension of 70% of their last salary, the worst ratio in recent years, where it started at 80%.

This causes many Spanish retirees, not being tied to a place for their employment, consider taking control of their lives and start a second life in a country where each euro gives much more than itself.

If, in addition, they own a property in Spain already amortized or in the process of being, they can consider renting it to obtain a new source of income, so that the growth of their income and savings double.

Asunción is considered the most economic capital of the world. For example, the average rent for an apartment in a middle class neighborhood with two rooms is 1.5 million guaraníes (at a change, 220 euros).

How long have you not seen in Spain a liter of gasoline at 60 cents per liter? Or a package of tobacco for 0.75? Has it ever been possible to eat at a good restaurant for 5 euros?

If a retiree wants to get much more with the same pension or make their savings give much more than itself, ASUNCION DEL PARAGUAY is the best city in the world. With just 450 euros per month, you can get a house in a high-class neighborhood, food, basic necessities and pay the internet bill, although for a little more you can access housing developments with larger residences.

The pensioners who arrive every year to Paraguay find themselves with an advanced and democratic society, with an enviable security and with great economic and social stability.

In addition, from the point of view of those who have already undertaken this new stage of their lives or who have been residing here for years, they also include:

  • the absence of restrictions to acquire properties in real estate,
  • real estate is not overvalued or currently suffering inflation,
  • the low population density,
  • easy access to other countries around, both by sky and by land,
  • a solid financial structure,
  • a government presence brought to a minimum in private affairs and business,
  • access to permanent residence is very simple and easy to obtain,
  • Very friendly people, both locals and foreign residents with the same life experience.

SECURITY

Unlike other countries visited regularly, Paraguay has signed and complies with all the International Human Rights Treaties.

It also has a crime rate that is much lower than in other countries such as Brazil or Mexico. It is one of the features that most attract the attention of foreign visitors, especially those who are attracted by the idea of an international retreat and therefore stay longer in the country.

Paraguay is known for being a relatively small country and due to the characteristics of its inhabitants, it maintains a calm and relaxed lifestyle. A very professional police force guards the streets of Asunción providing assistance to citizens and visitors and in Ciudad del Este a specialized Tourism Police unit has also been created to receive foreigners. They are ready to help any foreign visitor in English.

Obviously, this is not necessary for Spanish pensioners who move there. In fact, another great advantage for Spaniards who emigrate to Paraguay is, precisely, that they will be able to communicate perfectly without needing to learn a new language. The language puts them in an advantageous position compared to other European or North American pensioners.

HEALTH SERVICES

At certain ages, as is normal, we care more about our health to continue enjoying life. Therefore, it is important to note that, as in Spain, Paraguay has a public health service and a private one, as well as a national network of pharmacies.

You can hire high quality medical insurance and continue with our routines without alterations.

In addition, where in Spain brands set the prices of medicines for the purchasing power of the general population and the State progressively reduces aid in the payment of medication, in Paraguay prices remain very low for the same type of product.

TECHNOLOGY

With new technologies, it is easy to maintain contact with any relative or friend who, for whatever reason, decides to stay in Spain.

In summary, we can maintain a higher standard of living, save and even, within the second life that we face, maybe even start new adventures taking advantage of the experience gained along the way to start new projects of any kind, including investing or start business.
